Hollywood, CA::Why the hell is it, when you see a cop on the side of the road or pulling up next to you that you slam on the brakes? Do you think magically that the cop won't notice your 25mph reduction in speed?
What about when you are driving and you see a cop a half of a mile behind you and sneakingly try to buckle your seatbelt, like the cop might see you with his wall-eye vision from 2,640 feet away.
How about when you see an accident or someone pulled over on the side of the road and you go very very slow by the scene, even if it is on the interstate during rush hour, because you might just see something, possibly a piece of evidence, that the police force missed.
Finally I want to say that I am pissed at the "Police Academy" movies for making me believe that there are cops out there that are as cool as Steve Guttenberg.

Well, the reason you slow down is so that you show the policeman you respect him. If you go whizzing by without so much as slowing down, it shows you are arrogant and snubbing the police man and the power he yields. He takes this as a sign of disrespect. And we all know that you will not win an argument with a pig, because not only does he have the pen, he has the law on his side. Whether or not you are right.
The reason you buckle your seatbelt, is because you dont want to give him reason to pull you over. PLus, most of the time they are squinting to look at your licensee plate, not the 4 inch gap between the side-wall and your shoulder. More times than not he will not notice.
Curiosity killed the cat on the last paragraph Koom. Also, the domino effect of everyone else looking usually slows you down enough that you have nothing else to do but sneak a peak.
And just for the record, Hightower, Riggs, Barbara, Lassard, Jones, Martin, Tackleberry, Sgt. Callahan, Fackler, Cpt. Reed, Copeland, Blankes, Hooks, Harris, Proctor, Kirkland, mauser, Sweetchuck, Zed, Hurst, and Conklin are all better than one Sgt. Carey Mahoney!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This article was a stupid statement and thing I hated!
this is actually a comment on a comment, Police Academy is not a good movie.
